MICE Bali Corporate Retreat Packages: Rates & Flows

MICE Bali corporate retreat packages typically run IDR 6,500,000 to IDR 22,000,000 per delegate (around USD 400-1,350, reference only) for a 3-day, 2-night programme, depending on retreat type, zone and hotel tier. Ubud anchors leadership and wellness retreats; Jimbaran suits executive off-sites and team-building. All quotes are contracted in Rupiah, dated as of 2026 and subject to change.

Summitara Events is the Bali MICE desk of micebali.com. We do not own the villas or resorts we place you in — we build and price your retreat via vetted, licensed Bali venues and suppliers, with bookings handled by our operating partner Bali Premium Trip. Below are the retreat models we quote most, the IDR bands behind them, and exactly how a retreat consult turns into a signed programme.

Which corporate retreat model fits your team?

A “retreat” in Bali is not one product. Buyers usually want one of three shapes, and the zone you pick changes the cost and the feel more than the hotel star rating does.

  • Leadership retreat (8-25 pax): Board, C-suite or senior partners. Small, high-touch, agenda-heavy. Ubud is the default — quiet, forested, private-villa boardrooms, wellness woven around strategy blocks.
  • Executive / department off-site (25-80 pax): Sales kickoffs, planning summits, incentive-flavoured rewards. Jimbaran and Nusa Dua absorb these well: cliff-top or beachfront resorts, real meeting rooms, easy airport transfers.
  • Team-building retreat (30-150 pax): Culture, bonding, activity-led. Jimbaran beach clubs and Ubud adventure zones both work; larger groups tilt toward Nusa Dua for room-block depth.

The honest rule: the more strategic and senior the group, the more Ubud earns its place. The more logistics-heavy and larger the group, the more Jimbaran and Nusa Dua save you time and money.

What do MICE Bali corporate retreat packages cost per person?

Bands below are per-delegate, twin-share, and bundle accommodation, daily meeting space, two meals a day, ground transfers within the zone, a licensed guide for offsites, and Summitara coordination. They exclude international flights, the Love Bali tourist levy, alcohol, and optional add-ons. Prices are anchored in Indonesian Rupiah as required under Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 17/3/PBI/2015; USD figures are reference-only conversions, as of 2026 and subject to change.

Retreat type Primary zone Duration Per-pax band (IDR, twin-share) USD reference (approx.)
Leadership retreat, 8-25 pax Ubud 3D/2N 14,000,000 – 22,000,000 860 – 1,350
Leadership retreat, 8-25 pax Ubud 5D/4N 24,000,000 – 38,000,000 1,470 – 2,330
Executive off-site, 25-80 pax Jimbaran 3D/2N 9,500,000 – 15,000,000 580 – 920
Executive off-site, 25-80 pax Nusa Dua 4D/3N 12,500,000 – 19,000,000 770 – 1,170
Team-building retreat, 30-150 pax Jimbaran 3D/2N 6,500,000 – 11,000,000 400 – 675
Wellness / culture retreat, 15-40 pax Ubud 4D/3N 15,000,000 – 24,000,000 920 – 1,470

Where each band lands depends on hotel tier, season (July-August and December peak), and how activity- or catering-heavy the agenda is. Per-pax cost drops as headcount rises and room blocks get negotiated harder.

What does a Bali retreat flow actually look like?

Two sample flows we quote often. Treat them as scaffolding — every consult reshapes them around your objectives, budget and delegate mix.

Ubud leadership retreat — 3 days, 2 nights (12 pax):

  • Day 1: Ngurah Rai arrival, licensed transfer to Ubud (allow 90-120 minutes; corridor traffic is a real constraint through 2030 while connectivity upgrades continue). Villa check-in, welcome dinner, informal alignment session.
  • Day 2: Morning strategy block in the private villa boardroom, working lunch, afternoon offsite to a rice-terrace walk or temple with a certified guide, evening leadership dinner.
  • Day 3: Half-day synthesis and commitments session, spa or wellness closer, transfer back to Ngurah Rai.

Jimbaran executive off-site — 4 days, 3 nights (50 pax):

  • Day 1: Arrival, resort check-in, welcome reception on the beachfront.
  • Day 2: Full-day plenary in the resort ballroom, breakout rooms for department tracks, group dinner.
  • Day 3: Morning workshops, afternoon team-building (beach games or a culinary challenge), gala-style evening.
  • Day 4: Wrap session, checkout, staggered transfers to the airport.

For larger association-scale plenaries, we reference corridor anchor venues by indicative capacity — the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC, roughly 2,500 theatre-style), the Bali International Convention Centre at The Westin Nusa Dua, Merusaka Nusa Dua ballrooms and AYANA-cluster spaces — all arranged via vetted venues, with capacities subject to venue confirmation.

What compliance points should planners brief delegates on?

A few provincial and national rules shape every retreat itinerary, so we build them in from the first draft:

  • Currency: Your contract and invoice are in IDR. USD or SGD figures are labelled reference-only, never the settlement currency.
  • Tourist levy: Foreign delegates pay the mandatory levy electronically via the official Love Bali platform (lovebali.baliprov.go.id), per Governor Koster’s Circular Letter SE No. 7 of 2025.
  • Licensed everything: Guides, transport and accommodation must be licensed; unlicensed-stay enforcement is tightening. We only place groups in legally licensed properties.
  • Single-use plastics (bags, Styrofoam, plastic straws, plastic-bottled drinks) are banned at venues and offsites — we brief caterers accordingly.
  • Entry: Delegates arrive at Ngurah Rai (Denpasar) with passports valid at least six months beyond arrival and two blank pages. Visa-on-arrival or e-visa applies to many nationalities, but verify per nationality close to contract signature.
  • Cash movement: Carrying IDR 100,000,000 or more in or out of Indonesia must be reported to Customs (Law No. 8 of 2010). In May 2026 Bank Indonesia tightened undocumented cash foreign-currency purchases to USD 25,000. Advise delegates to change money at licensed changers showing official Bank Indonesia QR codes.

Note: a 2025 draft rule that would ask some visitors to disclose three months of bank balances is only a proposal, not law — worth monitoring, not planning around. Incentive add-ons in Flores or Labuan Bajo sit outside Bali and are handled by our sibling desk at labuanbajoconference.

How does booking a retreat work?

  1. Consult. Send us headcount, target dates, retreat type and a rough per-pax budget via WhatsApp. We reply with 2-3 zone-and-model options in IDR.
  2. Shortlist and hold. We check live availability with vetted venues, price the shortlist, and place tentative holds.
  3. Proposal. You receive a Rupiah-based proposal — inclusions, exclusions, a sample day-by-day flow, and compliance notes.
  4. Contract and deposit. On sign-off, Bali Premium Trip issues the IDR contract and deposit schedule and locks the venues.
  5. Detailing. We finalise the run-sheet, transfers, guides, catering, and any team-building or wellness modules.
  6. On-ground delivery. Coordinated arrival-to-departure, with a point of contact throughout.
