What does a Jimbaran corporate event cost?
Every figure below is anchored in Indonesian Rupiah first, with USD shown for reference only. This is not a stylistic choice. Under Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 17/3/PBI/2015 (the Obligation to Use Rupiah), every transaction settled in Indonesia must be priced, quoted, invoiced and contracted in IDR; a USD or SGD number may appear only as a clearly labelled reference conversion, never as the contract currency. As of 2026, enforcement can reach written warnings and financial penalties up to IDR 1,000,000,000 (or 1% of transaction value for non-cash breaches). How does booking a Jimbaran venue work?
- Brief. Send delegate count, dates, format (conference, gala, retreat) and rough budget band to the concierge below. A one-line brief is enough to start.
- Shortlist. Bali Premium Trip returns two to three vetted Jimbaran venues matched to capacity and format, with indicative IDR ranges and availability windows.
- Site check. We confirm floor plans, licensed-venue and licensed-transport status, and single-use-plastic-free catering (banned at Bali venues under Governor Koster’s Circular Letter SE No. 7 of 2025).
- Proposal. A written proposal in IDR, USD reference-only, with staging, F&B, AV and transfer lines itemised.
- Contract and deposit. Contracting in Rupiah, deposit terms confirmed, dates held.

What compliance points must Jimbaran planners brief delegates on?
A few provincial and national rules shape any Jimbaran programme, and briefing delegates early prevents on-site friction:
- Tourist levy. Foreign delegates must pay Bali’s mandatory tourist levy electronically via the official Love Bali platform (lovebali.baliprov.go.id) before arrival, per Governor Koster’s 2025 circular.
- Licensed everything. Guides for any cultural or natural-site visit, transport, and accommodation must be licensed; enforcement on unlicensed stays is tightening as of 2026.
- No single-use plastics. Bags, Styrofoam, plastic straws and plastic-bottled drinks are banned at venues and offsites, so brief your F&B partner.
- Cash and FX. Under Law No. 8 of 2010 on money laundering, anyone carrying cash or instruments worth IDR 100,000,000 or more in or out of Indonesia must report to Customs; failure triggers a 10% deduction capped at IDR 300,000,000. In May 2026, Bank Indonesia (Governor Perry Warjiyo) tightened undocumented cash foreign-currency purchases from USD 50,000 to USD 25,000. Advise delegates to change money into IDR on arrival at licensed changers showing official Bank Indonesia QR codes.
- Entry. Delegates arrive via Ngurah Rai; passports need at least six months’ validity beyond arrival and two blank pages. A 2025 draft regulation that would require some visitors to disclose three months of bank balances and detailed itineraries remains a proposal, not enacted law.
